Top 10 Stocks for Swing Trading Options
Top 10 Stocks for Swing Trading Options – Our List and Other Popular Site’s Lists
Here’s a list of Top 10 Stocks for Swing Trading Options and More:
Now this list could change over time.
Ultimatelym in order to make a lot of money in swing training you want to find your bread and butter stocks to trade with options. You can have a variety of different stocks to swing trade with options. It’s not a bad idea.
Some stocks we use for sheer volume of profit points. These would be the high flyers. So we’re not as much concerned about percent return as the volume of profit points on those big movers but you have to check the options delta coordination with the average stock swing.
So if we can pluck off profit points on your average swing for example, and then that could bring a lot of profit points with options. And you can imagine what those types of stocks that the options will be more expensive, true. But if you can bring in a ton of cash by riding swings on those type of high flyer stocks then these types of stocks can make you a ton of money.
We all learned the lesson to not poo poo the high flyer internet stocks back in the late 1990s early 2000s. Many of us options traders were used to buying very low cost options in prior for big percent gains. Then all of the sudden you had these super high cost options on these high flyer internet stocks. So many of us had to adjust our mindframe and swap up percentage return type of thinking with sheer volume of profit points grabbing thinking. Because back then us stock could swing 100, 200 points no problem and you can ride that with options.
And those options weren’t extremely ridiculously overpriced otherwise no one would trade them and they were still reasonably priced relative to the amount of points that stock could swing around. And with options, once your stock passes your strike price and starts driving deeper into the money you’re just going to be making money faster. So when you can ride up 100 to 200 point move you can imagine you can make a lot of money with not very many contracts of options.
Now on the other hand you have these boring sounding stocks that could have their average swing go from 2 to 5 points. But their options are so low price that you can make a very large percent return such as doubling to quadrupling your money on your average swing. You just have to find that great mix and match of stock that swings well to options.
So therefore, spending time and making a big list of great stocks to swing trade with options could be very valuable. These stocks will go in and out of strongly motivated phase of action. So you want to have a list of stocks to target when they go hot and not necessarily remove them from your lists.
And on top of that new companies start trading on the stock market offering all sorts of excellent wild profit opportunity. You just need a good options system or strategy to capture them. See our products page to find one. And in addition to that, old companies can come alive and start moving around very well offering you opportunity so you’ll want to keep an eye out for those too.
Conversely some stocks could go dormant and you don’t want to waste your time on the stock that is dormant and confused in the way it moves around. You just want to switch to something else if you want to be more strategic about it.
Now on the other hand when you trade a system you do want consistency and you do want to stick to that same stock even if it is moving slowly for a period of time. But if you’re more strategic minded then you want to have your swing traded system and be able to apply it to the hottest opportunities only thereby combining system trading with strategy trading in a clever way.
